What is tango?

•The Argentine tango is one of the first Latin dances that achieved international fame in the twentieth century. It is distinguished by its passionate and dramatic character.

•In the Argentine tango couple embracing a well intimately.  Although this embrace may be different in each of the styles of Argentine tango, Argentine tango hug is always well close. The couple maintains contact in the chest and upper body.

•In this intimate embrace the couple walks as if they were one body, expressing the feeling of the music. The Argentine tango is not governed by fixed steps, if not for improvisation.

•Instead of steps, the couple interprets the passion, drama, romance, love and heartbreak by movements and figures that include crosses, hooks (legs intertwine), turns and antispinward and cuts.
